Tibhar Evolution MX-P - A detailed presentation

The Tibhar Evolution MX-P is the subject of much discussion in table tennis forums and regulars' tables. Is it really a genuine alternative to the Butterfly Tenergy 05? The answer is YES! It is even labelled on the rubber - PRO PLAYER VERSION.

The secret of its quality lies in the combination of high-class spin development thanks to the high-tension, high-grip top rubber and a coarse-pored, porous sponge, which provides enormous penetrating power on hard strokes. The increased catapult effect comes into its own when blocking and counter-attacking.

This rubber is characterised by a relatively high ball flight curve in relation to its hardness. The table tennis rubber is slightly heavier than the Butterfly Tenergy 05, which is appreciated by some players as this bonus allows them to generate even more penetration with the appropriate impact hardness. Compared to the Tenergy, it has more catapult. Players who miss exactly this have found the ideal alternative in the MX-P.

This model is suitable for spin-orientated, aggressive attacking players. It offers advantages close to the table and - this is unique - a ball feedback that is usually only possible with medium-hard or soft sponges. If it is too fast and/or too hard for you, you should go for the medium-hard Tibhar Evolution EL-P (very often used on the backhand). Note on mounting: It is better to use 2 layers of adhesive. The large pores absorb a lot of adhesive.
