Finally, the time has come and the manufacturers in the table tennis industry have unveiled the secrets of what new table tennis items 2024 has in store for us. Long before the turn of the year, manufacturers are tinkering, designing, and constructing. Before we get to the items, we would also like to fulfill a kind of general education mission :-) Joola is a well-known German company with a long tradition. It was founded by Karl Frey and as early as 1954, the production of table tennis tables began. There was even a separate department within the company with the then name Jooss. The name Joola came later: Jooss & Landau merged to form Joola. The company then moved its headquarters to Godramstein. In 1973, there was another move because the old location offered too little space and room due to immense growth. This time it went to Siebeldingen, where the company can still be found today. In 2019, Joola was acquired by the American company Sport Squad, Inc. Both companies had already worked together very successfully beforehand.
