Stiga: The table tennis brand with tradition - specialising in blades

Stiga was founded in Sweden in 1934 by Stieg Hielmquist and was initially active in the woodworking sector, then in ammunition production and from 1944 the company began producing table tennis products, inspired by the growing popularity of the sport. The company expanded abroad in the 1970s and opened sales offices in London and Helsinki.

The Stiga brand has a long history of excellence and continuous product development. Stiga offers a wide range of high-quality table tennis blades, rubbers, tables and balls that are appreciated by table tennis players all over the world. The production quality of the blades is particularly important. The patented Cybershape blade created a new trend in 2022.

Stiga has supported many great table tennis players over the years, including some of the best in the history of the sport. These include legends such as Kjell Johansson, Hans Alsér and Stelan Bengtsson. The blades of these players are now traded as rarities and sometimes fetch 10 times the price of new blades on sales platforms.

With its impressive history and commitment to excellence, Stiga remains a leading force in the world of table tennis and will continue to inspire and support table tennis players worldwide. As one of the few European brands, Stiga also managed to establish itself in the Chinese market.

  • Rubbers: Unfortunately, we are currently unable to recommend any Stiga rubbers. On the one hand, they are currently overpriced in terms of performance, and on the other hand, Stiga sells them at an unattractive price for dealers. We have to buy 10 of each sponge thickness, otherwise we will not be supplied. Who can afford that?
  • Blades: Stiga is still the global market leader in table tennis blades. Within Germany, Donic, Tibhar & co. market share, but the Asian market is extremely enthusiastic about Stiga.
  • Balls: We have the Stiga Perform ABS*** competition balls in our range. We have to buy extremely large quantities of the Stiga brand in order to be supplied at all. You are welcome to contact us if you would like to stock up on them as a club, in which case we will match the price and can create a win-win situation, so to speak.
