Donic Epox Topspeed has put its focus on speed. The speed of this blade is high, even without Carbon inlays. The inner veneers are very hard which is the basis for much stiffness, and dynamics. Also, further increases of speed are achieved by an additional stiffening of this TT blade induced by the Epox hardening process.
The gluing process is based on epoxy resin using high pressures and a simultaneous heat treatment. The thin Epox layer is first liquefied before it firmly bonds the veneers after hardening. The Donic Epox Topspeed exhibits an increased feeling for the game. This is because of the above mentioned firm veneer gluing technique.
The main characteristics of the
Donic Epox Topspeed table tennis blade are speed, hardness, and stiffness. In such a combination, these properties make the Epox Topspeed the ideal blade for hard blocks and counters. When playing at higher speeds (e.g. topspins or shots), there is always a bit more power. Although the gluing probably does not play the most important role, it is still influencing the development of the overall properties of this blade. The Epox Topspeed has almost the same speed characteristic as its brother, the Powercarbon.
