Sponeta S 1-72 e - Let´s get it done!
Sponeta is a German company located in a small city called Schlotheim. One focus of the company are indoor and outdoor table tennis tables. During the more pleasant season, outdoor activities are very popular and Sponeta has developed so-called outdoor ping pong tables just for these purposes. The S1 line is Sponeta´s entry model series: inexpensive models for purely recreational purposes. So if you have a garden or a yard and you want some fun during your barbecue or when doing a party, these models might be an appealing choice. The Sponeta S1-72e is one model within this series we would like to present to you in detail.This table meets the criteria of the European Standard EN 14468-1 and Sponeta offers a warranty (2 years) from the date of purchase. Sponeta S1-72e - the top of this table
The surface board - made of melamine resin - has a thickness of 4 mm. Melamine resins (melamine-formaldehyde condensation resins) belong to the category of synthetic resins. They are made of melamine and formaldehyde, which is bonded together belonging to the duroplastic plastics. Their properties are just ideal for outdoor tables: They are mechanically strong, thermically stable (e.g. well over 100 °C), and weather as well as light resistant. Mechanical impacts are critical, there is only a limited resistance (make sure to protect the table from hail). The same is true for acids or alkalis.The surface color is green and the melamine resin board is firmly glued onto the substructure. The frame profile is stable enough (L-36 mm) considering that this is the "easiest" entry series. It is powder-coated and black (RAL 9005).
Sponeta S 1-72 e - the structure underneath the surface board
The base frame (Compact Type 4b) of the Sponeta S 1-72e is also powder-coated and black, however, the RAL code is different (RAL 9011). Designed as a round tube (diameter 25 mm), the stability is ok. The transport of this table tennis table is performed via 4 single wheels (diameter 125 mm), of which two wheels are swiveling. The base frame also includes holders for your rackets and balls, which is very convenient. Thanks to the playback position, you can also do single training sessions!In order to lock and secure this ping pong table, Sponeta provides a twist grip systems with a snap-in / latching mechanism for the S1-72e.
Sponeta S 1-72 e - Scope of delivery, dimensions, and weight
The delivery occurs from the manufacturer directly to your place, as we do not have such bulky items in stock. Please provide a correct telephone number for the shipping company when ordering. The shipping is executed via a two-man service, the notification is usually by phone. The carton/box marking includes the product description, article number, and GTIN code. The delivery time depends on where you are located. As already mentioned, you will receive an email from us with an expected delivery date.The scope of delivery includes: Assembly instructions with language booklet and the net set "Club". Balls or rackets are not part of the delivery, but you can of course also order these. The net set "Club" is stationary and comprises galvanized metal posts with a diameter of 6 mm. The net is black, with a loop. The dimensions of the net are: Length= approx. 180 cm x height=15.2 cm.
In the gaming/playing position the Sponeta S1 - 72e measures Length=274 cm x Width=152.5 cm x Height=76 cm (corresponds to the international tournament dimensions). In the parking position the dimensions are: L=152.5 cm (with net: 184 cm) x W=68 cm x H=163 cm.
The packaging is a Type A single carton for the standing transport. The carton is quite stable and measures H = 162 x L = 144 x W = 9 - 15.5 cm (depending on the concrete model). At the bottom of the carton there is a transport foot (height approx. 2.5 cm) at the right and left side. Packaging and table weigh approx. 53.5 kg (gross weight), just the table weighs about 48 kg (net weight). It is recommended to mount this ping pong table in pairs, the duration is approx. 2-3 h.
