Similar to the other rubbers from this series, the Xiom Omega IV Pro is equipped with a very catchy, spin-elastic topsheet, and with the typical black Carbo sponge. The sponge has a hardness of 47.5 °, hence allowing a very dynamical gaming behavior. Combined with the highly catchy (much grip) topsheet, this TT rubber produces a huge catapult effect when having contact to the ball which you can clearly perceive!
This makes it easier for you to play rotational topspins with a slightly elevated trajectory which will cause problems for your opponent. The Omega IV Pro also provides a great tolerance in terms of speed, spin, and penetrating power, enabling much precision and control. This, however, is only present in case you are having a regular training, and a good arm pull.
The above mentioned properties make this table tennis rubber very suitable for attackers, who want to force their own game on their opponents using powerful and rotational topspins, either close to the table, or from the half distance. - Xiom Omega IV Pro: A rubber with a very good ratio between speed and spin. This rubber is still quite hard (sponge hardness: 47.5 °)!
- Xiom Omega IV Euro: The IV Euro provides good control, and forgives more errors compared to the Pro and Asia. Its sponge hardness is 44 °.
- Xiom Omega IV Elite: This is the softest version. The IV Elite is a table tennis rubber which is soft (sponge hardness: 40 °), very spinny, and good to control.
