Joola Dynaryz ACC - The newest high-tech rubber from Joola

The waiting is over, finally! The German high-quality company Joola is now showing off with the Joola Dynaryz ACC, a rubber which is the answer to the recently introduced plastic balls. Joola, known as a table tennis company with a long-lasting tradition and experience, announces this rubber as a unprecedented combination of spin, speed, and control.

What is behind all this? Well, Joola has developed a new sponge. This sponge has a purple color, is medium-hard, and is called Hyper Bounce Sponge. What does this mean? "Medium-hard" corresponds to two things: First, the sponge is relatively hard. This means that it develops great dynamics, combined of course with a good acceleration profile and a high final speed. At the same time, the sponge is not very hard, which leads us to the second issue: The sponge still enables a certain penetration level with respect to the ball. This slightly prolongs the ball contact time compared to very hard rubbers. As a consequence, control, feedback, and feeling are promoted. When the ball penetrates into the rubber, it also has to come out again. This is accompanied by a sort of re-bounce, which further highlights the great dynamics of the Dynaryz ACC rubber from Joola. This effect is slightly smaller considering harder rubbers.

We also want to take a closer look at the topsheet. The surface of the rubber is in direct contact with the ball, hence, it is considerably involved in the gaming properties of the rubber. The topsheet of this rubber is equipped with the Advanced Traction Surface Technology. This technology influences the friction properties. The surface is designed in such a way that the transition from static to sliding friction is delayed. In other words: The balls stick longer instead of sliding, resulting in more rotation & spin. These properties further highlight that both the topsheet and sponge are designed to perfectly match the new plastic balls.

The Dynaryz ACC clearly joins two aspects: Great dynamics and speed characteristics with much spin for one thing. For another thing, good feedback and control. Furthermore, this rubbers shines with an astonishing precision: The balls exhibit only a little degree of scattering.
