Donic Bluestorm Z1 - A purely offensive rubber
The Donic Bluestorm Z1 is made of a medium-hard (47.5°) sponge (medium-sized pores), and a thin, spin-elastic and highly dynamic topsheet (upper layer of the rubber). The topsheet is characterized by short and wide pimples, which guarantees a maximal speed-gluing effect.In addition to the sponge thicknesses of 1.9 and 2.1 mm, there is even thicker version of the sponge (max+). The combination of sponge and topsheet makes this rubber especially suitable for a hard and aggressive offensive style with fast and flat topspins. Considering its very high speed (10+++) and spin (10+++), this rubber still offers good control (6+) (manufacturer specification). Of course, despite these facts, this rubber requires a certain level and intensity of training in order to master it. Please note that this is also the case with all fast and hard rubbers. If you are a player exerting pressure toward the opponent by means of fast topspins (and out of every situation), this model will be the right choice for you.
