Within the Samsonov family, the TT blade Tibhar Samsonov Premium Contact is well known for its perfect ratio between speed, control, and penetrating power. Hence, this blade is classified as referring to the controlled offensive. Five plies with an overall thickness of about 6.2 mm provide good control characteristics, but also good prerequisites for attacks. This is also supported by its relatively low weight (85 g).
Tibhar developed to so called "Contact System", which is located within the handle of the Samsonov Premium Contact. In combination with the head of the blade, this development causes a gentle swinging (or mechanical stimuli), which is (are) transferred to the wrist and hand. Hence, a permanent feedback is provided, and mediated toward the central nervous systems by means of cutaneous mechanoreceptors, as well as afferent nerve pathways. Although this TT blade exhibits quite high speed characteristics, this feedback persists.
With the Samsonov Premium Contact, the German company Tibhar created a blade, with which there is not much you can do wrong. Combined with hard offensive rubbers, the whole bat will have an excellent penetrating power. Thin rubbers will provide the necessary amount of control for offensive allrounders.
