Victas ZX-Gear IN - Another new ZX Gear table tennis blade with Zexion® + Carbon!

Victas, as another successful traditional company, has now finished the development of the new table tennis blade series called ZX Gear. One of these offensive blades is the Victas ZX Gear IN. The English table tennis player Liam Pitchford, who is under contract with Victas, uses this blade. In contrast to the Victas ZX-Gear Fiber, the ZX-Gear IN is not only based on Zexion®, but also includes Carbon! Material specialists among you might already suppose that this causes an explosive mixture! How and why this is the case, will be shown to you right here.

Victas ZX-Gear IN - According to the motto: Zexion® & Carbon = Offensive!

All of you who already have some experience and knowledge in the table tennis scene know that Zexion® is an important ingredient considering the ZX-Gear series. Zexion® is a very soft and extremely elastic plastic, which is further processed resulting in a woven fiber structure being integrated into the Victas ZX-Gear IN. In total, this blade weighs approx. 89 g with an overall thickness of approx. 5.9 mm. Of course, a soft fiber leads to a softer behavior. In this case, also to a highly elastic behavior. This is the basis for the pronounced feedback and for the great feeling. Furthermore, the Victas ZX-Gear IN exhibits a huge amount of control.

As already mentioned, however, there is a powerful material partner integrated: None other than "Carbon"! Carbon constitutes a fiber-like plastic based on carbon (C). Carbon fibers are a very light material, but extremely stiff and strong. This is a clear difference compared to Zexion®! Due to its incredible stiffness and strength, Carbon causes much power, speed, penetration power, and a great directness of the balls.

The name ZX-Gear IN already points toward the fact that both fibers are located far inside the blade, around the core ply to be exact (structure: core ply - Zexion® - Carbon). Hence, a good energy transfer (a.k.a. rebound-effect) is supported, which applies to both aspects: Feedback, safety and feeling; and power, speed, as well as directness. For these reasons, the Victas ZX-Gear IN is classified as a quite offensive (style: Off / Off+) table tennis blade, which - considering its offensiveness - still exhibits a very good feeling and much control. Hence, it is highly suitable for an aggressive topspin game (much spin & rotation), especially when playing close to the table.

Below you can find a summarizing overview of all three table tennis blades from the ZX-Gear series:

• Victas ZX-Gear Fiber: An offensive (Off) ping pong blade based on the new and innovative Zexion® fibers. These are mainly responsible for a soft touch and much feeling!
• Victas ZX-Gear IN: A table tennis blade which not only includes Zexion® fibers (good feeling & much control), but also Carbon fibers (much power and pressure). Both fibers are located far inside the blade. Gaming style: Off / Off+!
• Victas ZX-Gear OUT: Similar to the Victas ZX-Gear IN, however, the Zexion®-Carbon fibers are located far outside, directly underneath the outer ply. Hence, the ZX Gear OUT may be classified as slightly more offensive compared to the ZX Gear In. Its very good control & feedback are maintained!
