The Yasaka Mark V M2 was designed for those table tennis players who judge the classic (Mark V) to be slightly too slow, and too soft. Although the Mark V M2 is a ping pong rubber without an integrated speed-gluing effect, it is still a bit harder and faster than the Mark V.
At the former times of speed-gluing, the Yasaka Mark V M2 was glued with several layers, and was a real weapon for uncompromising attackers. Nowadays, due to the prohibition of this kind of tuning / modification, the Mark V M2 is a rubber categorized as allround plus (All+).
As you might know already, the Mark V has been available on the market for a surprisingly long time (considering that it was the 18 year old Stellan Bengtsson (Sweden) who first won the world championship title using this rubber). Due to its hard sponge, the Yasaka Mark V M2 provides many offensive possibilities to those of you who don´t get along well with the ESN rubbers. When using the Mark V M2 on a fast blade, there is only a small difference to the Tensors (if any!).
In case you prefer a slightly slower rubber, we recommend the Yasaka Mark V as an allround (All) table tennis rubber. The Mark V series is complemented by two further rubbers with an integrated speed-gluing effect. These are the Yasaka Mark V HPS and the Yasaka Mark V HPS Soft.

- Yasaka Mark V M2: A ping pong rubber which is harder, faster, and more direct compared to the Yasaka Mark V. Increased dynamics for an allround plus (All+) style.
- Yasaka Mark V HPS Soft: The second fastest rubber within the Mark V series, still great feedback (great ratio between speed & control)! Integrated speed gluing effect and hybrid power sponge (HPS) = controlled offensive (Off-).
- Yasaka Mark V HPS: The fastest, most direct, and most dynamical rubber of all Mark V rubbers. Integrated speed-gluing effect & hard sponge. For aggressive and modern offensive players, gaming style: Off!
