Yasaka Rakza XX - More dynamics and power!
The predecessor rubber of the Rakza XX from Yasaka was and still is extremely popular. Now the Japanese company is upping the ante and the result is really something special.
The XX is generally designed to be even harder, and you can feel this just by touching it. The sponge has an approximate hardness of 50° - you can actually call it a hard sponge. It is therefore quite firm (high density), but also has relatively large pores. And this combination is crucial: at lower speeds, these pores allow a kind of deformation. As a result, the rubber feels somewhat softer and more sensitive, even more controllable. At higher speeds, however, the hardness of the sponge shines through and ensures incredible dynamics, power and directness.
This is supported by the surface of the flooring, which is made of natural rubber. Compared to artificial "rubbers", this has a number of advantages, such as greater elasticity and resilience. The Yasaka Rakza XX therefore impresses with its very good durability and grip. This allows for an enormous ease of rotation, despite the high speed potential. However, the rubber is not or only barely sticky, which ultimately also benefits speed.
A brief summary of the Rakza XX
The XX is clearly made for speed and spin! It is even one of the fastest ESN rubbers that are not/barely sticky. Even further away from the table you can feel the power and penetrating power of this rubber - especially if the blade is just as offensive. Nevertheless, the control is actually good in view of this offensiveness. The trajectory is rather moderately high and moderately flat. Of course, the XX is not a bargain, but in our opinion the price is reasonable considering the quality.
This rubber is completely a penetrating attacking rubber (OFF+), where you have to be advanced to be able to utilise its full potential. It is not suitable for beginners, hobby players and the like.
