The Tibhar Hybrid K3 sets new standards among tensor rubbers with a sticky topsheet. By optimally adapting the topsheet and sponge, it was possible for the first time to seamlessly combine the full advantages of both approaches to improve playing characteristics.
For this reason, many Tibhar contract players rely on this rubber in addition to the Evolution rubbers, which are still their most popular rubbers.
The topsheet is equipped with a slight tackiness. This allows very high rotation values to be achieved. Especially in the passive play, this also brings advantages in the pushing game, where it is easier to generate strong backspin. This rubber reaches its full potential when playing topspin.
The sponge is equipped with fine pores. The relatively low-catapult effect and hard sponge (53°) requires a good technique, so that the rubber should ideally be used in higher playing classes. Compared to the very sticky Chinese rubbers, the catapult components and the built-in Tensor technology offer a noticeable improvement over the best-selling Chinese rubbers. At the same time, the tensor effect ensures good acceleration and a typical modern speed glue feeling.
The hard sponge requires a good arm stroke and a stable technique (due to a shorter ball-contact time, so there is less feeling). The potential of the Hybrid K3 is enormous and can be exploited by players of all advanced levels who have a stable basic technique.
