Donic Vario Big Slam - A great and very spinny rubber

During the last 20 years, the Vario has developed to a real classic! Today, this rubber is still extremely popular. However, it was also time to go on, to develop another, newer rubber which is equipped with the modern Formula technology from Donic. And there it is - the Donic Vario Big Slam.

This table tennis rubber is made of a very catchy (much grip) topsheet. Hence, it is very suitable to generate much spin and rotation. This is because it exhibits a large coefficient of static friction. For these reasons, this model is not only suitable for chopped balls, but also for highly spinny attacks.

In addition to this, there is also a very soft sponge. This allows for a good control of the ball, a good Feedback, and a pronounced sensation. This is based on a prolonged ball contact time because the ball can penetrate deeper into the material (which takes longer). As you might already know, a prolonged ball contact time significantly decreases the amount of avoidable errors, but may also increase the power and speed when doing strokes in a more aggressive manner. Last but not least: This rubber exhibits a great, strong, and unique sound when hitting the ball at a high speed!
