The name Victas is made up of the English word for victory and the Japanese word Ashita for tomorrow. The brand name stands for the winners of tomorrow. Victas, formerly branded TSP, has made a significant impact on the sport of table tennis since its inception in 1988. Originally founded in Japan, Victas is still headquartered in Tokyo and is recognised for quality and innovation in the sport of table tennis.The Victas brand has a long history of excellence and product innovation. Victas offers a wide range of high quality table tennis bats, rubbers, tables and accessories that are appreciated by table tennis players worldwide. Victas is the market leader in short pimple table tennis rubbers. Victas is also the sponsor of the Japanese national team.
Benedikt Duda is supported as a top player who represents the brand nationally and internationally. The close cooperation with top athletes is a sign of Victas' commitment to first-class performance.
The management of Victas is in the hands of Koji Matsushita in Japan, while Peter Franz is in charge of European sales. This expertise in the industry demonstrates Victas' global commitment. - Rubbers: Victas is the leading table tennis brand in the short pimples segment. Many attacking rubbers, including the V15 Extra as the top rubber, are used by higher class players. The Ventus series, which was extremely popular in the days of TSP, was taken over by Victas, but did not achieve the full appeal of the TSP bestseller series.
- Blades: Many Victas blades are made in Japan, which speaks for high quality. However, it is not 100% certain that every Victas blade is made in Japan.
