This wood, although consisting of seven layers, is made up of only three different materials. The 3.5 mm thick core veneer is made of lightweight balsa, which ensures that the wood is quite light at 80 grams.
This is followed by a 0.6 mm thick layer of Limba, a layer of Dotec fibers, and finally, the two 0.6 mm thick outer veneers, which are also made of Limba.
