The Stiga Rosewood NCT VII is another TT blade which complements the Rosewood series. The Rosewood NCT VII focuses on speed. In general, Rosewood blades are known for their high quality, and their thoroughly chosen, hand-picked veneers. They are a bit lighter compared to Ebony (Ebenholz) blades, but still provide a high hardness resulting in a good overall speed. In cooperation with players from the Chinese National Team who are under contract with Stiga, the focus was always on a high quality. The basic structure is based on a great harmony between speed, spin, control, and trajectory.
Regarding the Rosewood NCT 7, the speed behavior is of particular interest: It is remarkable. Almost every ball contact results in a rebound effect with a moderate speed. When doing attacks with a lot of active force, topspins, shots, and hard blocks, the ball gets even faster! Faster compared to conventional table tennis blades.
Compared to offensive blades of lower quality stemming from "mass production", the workmanship, feedback, and design of the Stiga Rosewood NCT VII is significantly superior. In comparison to the NCT V, the NCT VII is faster, and exhibits a larger catapult effect. This, however, happens at slight expenses of control. In total, there are 7 thoroughly chosen veneers made of natural wood, resulting in an overall weight of approx. 90 g.
The integrated Nano Composite technology makes the Stiga Rosewood NCT 7 significantly faster, and harder. It is quite remarkable that this TT blade still exhibits much control!
The NCT 7 has its strengths when doing opening topspins: They hit the other half of the table in a flat trajectory, being hard, but still sensitive. During topspin-topspin duels one can clearly feel the feeling for the ball. This makes it easier to successfully assess the amount of spin of incoming balls. Despite its good control, the Stiga Rosewood NCT VII is an offensive blade primarily designed for players with a high training workload, and with an excellent feeling. Also perfect for players who always want to dominate their opponent.
