Donic Persson Youngstar - For the Fast Kids

The table tennis blade Donic Persson Youngstar, specially developed for children's hands. The concave narrow grip shape fits very well to the wrist. Five extra light wood veneers were selected, which after gluing lead to an 80g table tennis blade. Most blades built for adults are significantly heavier. This is either due to the larger blade size or the fact that harder types of wood are often used, which also have a higher weight.

With the Donic Persson Youngstar, the blade size has been slightly reduced and is offered by Donic at a very affordable price. The reduced blade size leads to a decreased weight, allowing all stroke techniques to be executed with less effort.

The Persson Youngstar is recommended by TT-SHOP.DE for the controlled offensive play system. To play with this blade, basic strokes should already be mastered to some extent.

The product series is complemented by an all-round blade for children:

• Donic Waldner Youngstar: very controlled blade, same grip and also very light - all-round play style

To promote youth development, we offer two completely assembled children's table tennis paddles. Both are equipped with Donic Vario Soft rubbers. These are grippy, well controllable, and perfectly suited for learning and improving stroke techniques. The sponge thickness of the rubbers can be freely chosen. Please note:

• thinner table tennis rubbers offer more control, but the speed is also lower
• thicker rubbers are faster, but slightly less controllable

The difference between the following children's paddles lies in the blade:

• Children's Table Tennis Paddle All: with the Donic Waldner Youngstar blade & 2 x Donic Vario Soft rubbers, well controlled/all-round
• Children's Table Tennis Paddle Off-: with the Donic Persson Youngstar blade & 2 x Donic Vario Soft rubbers, slightly faster/controlled offensive

In principle, you can't go wrong with either children's paddle or either children's blade. Both the Waldner Youngstar and the Donic Persson Youngstar are easy to control. If an offensive playing style is already evident from the start, you should opt for the Persson model!
