Joola Vyzaryz Trinity - The third new Joola blade from 2020
What is the saying like? All good things come in threes! This is exactly what Joola must have kept in mind when developing their new blade series called Vyzaryz. In addition to the Joola Vyzaryz Freeze and the Joola Vyzaryz Hybrid we now want to introduce to you the
Joola Vyzaryz Trinity. Innovative synthetic fiber fabrics and a pleasant, sensitive outer ply ... this is what we can tell you right away. Have fund reading through!
Joola Vyzaryz Trinity - A closer look, please!
The reason as to why Joola has come up with this name is probably because this blade includes three innovative, self-developed synthetic fiber fabrics. The core piece is
X3, a highly modern and innovative fabric on a synthetic basis.
Furthermore, the Joola Vyzaryz Trinity is equipped with horizontally aligned layers made of
PBO-c. PBO-c is also a synthetic fiber developed by Joola. The fibers are very tear-resistant and elastic, and they are made of so called PBO-fibers: Poly(p-phenylen-2,6-benzobisoxazol)), which are additionally reinforced with
Carbon (hence the name PBO-c). This complex exhibits very little shrinkage and is dimensionally very stable. Both fiber fabrics also result in a soft touch and in a significant increase of speed, dynamics, and power (esp. due to Carbon).
The third fiber type is the vertically aligned
Arylate and Carbon (AL-C). Arylate is also a synthetic fiber, which promotes both the speed and control of the blade. Similarly to Carbon, it reduces/eliminates unpleasant vibrations and increases the stability of the blade. The sweet spot (the area of the head of the blade where we can find optimal and constant properties) is enlarged and a kind of all-wood-feeling is at least mimicked.
Carbon primarily increases the directness of the blade: It is faster and more offensive.
Finally, another important ingredient is the outer veneer, which is made of
Limba. Limba trees grow in regions south of the equator and they reach a height of up to 45 m. The trunk may reach a diameter of approx. 1.5 m. Limba is medium-hard (Janka hardness: 430), medium-dense (520 kg/m
3), and very strong (Young´s modulus: 9,400 N/mm
2). Limba is widely known as a
topspin wood: it is qu
ite fast, but not very elastic / springy. Limba has a
soft feeling and good control.
Below the three Vyzaryz blades are summarized for you:
- Joola Vyzaryz Freeze: Speed and spin as well as a good feeling and a soft touch. ALC synthetic fiber fabric & Limba outer plies for a dynamical mixture!
- Joola Vyzaryz Trinity: All good things come in threes: X3, AL-C, and PBO-C! Complemented by sensitive Limba outer plies. Just great!
