Yasaka Mark V XS - A spinny, controlled, and classical table tennis rubber.

In contrast to the classic Mark V, the Mark V XS is designed for a bit more spin. This characteristic is highly suitable to play topspins with much spin and effect. Since the former times of speed gluing are over now (note that the Mark V XS does not exhibit an integrated speed-gluing effect!), this rubber is now classified as an allround / allround minus ping pong rubber.

Compared to the Mark V (which was originally designed for rotational topspins), the Mark V XS is a bit slower. Hence, the designation "All-" might be best. The catchier topsheet of the Mark V XS, however, is also suitable to induce dangerous backspin balls.

For this reason, TT-SHOP.COM recommends the Yasaka Mark V XS for defensive artists, who base their game on much safety during chopped balls, blocks, and counters. Because of the high amount of rotation when playing specific topspin attacks, your opponent will be in trouble when returning such balls.
