Stiga Clipper CR - The Upgrade of the Classic
The Stiga Clipper CR is an almost rigid table tennis blade, which has been made slightly faster than the classic Clipper Wood through a special surface treatment. A total of 7 classic wood veneers have been used, leading to a weight of approximately 90 g. In addition to the CR system, the WRB handle including WRB technology was also considered in the construction. The special feature of the CR technology is the treatment of the surface with UV light. This innovative wood processing technique makes it harder than conventional table tennis blades. This treatment can be easily recognized through a knock test. Above the red line on the blade, the wood is harder, which can also be heard. Below the line, you can hear and feel the softer layer.
