The short pimples are both highly dynamic and extremely dangerous. Dr Neubauer Explosion can be used with all sponge thicknesses to achieve a high speed when counter-attacking and shooting.
Using a thin sponge can provoke a flat, dipping ball bounce that causes direct mistakes by the opponent.
Block cracker with short pimples
The Explosion shows what is possible with blocks in particular: the rubber produces a very unpleasant ball trajectory, whereby not only the classic block can be used. Even "stop blocks", which "starve" the ball behind the net, are no problem for the rubber, as is slight counter-attacking when blocking.With the Dr. Neubauer Explosion, you can put your opponent under considerable pressure and play a highly effective and powerful short pimple game, although this requires experience and training.
