DHS Tin Arc 5 - A high-tech OFF rubber from DHS!

To counteract these detrimental effects, DHS has developed the Tin Arc series. One of these table tennis rubbers is the DHS Tin Arc 5. The main focus of this rubber was the development of a modern sponge, capable of meeting the requirements stemming from the new plastic balls.

The sponge is "equipped" with two new technologies: The Macro-Cell Technology and the High-Elasticity-Particle-Osmosis Technology. These result in a significantly larger catapult effect and in clearly improved dynamics. Yet with relatively little physical effort, you can generate much speed. The catapult effect makes the ball penetrate into the rubber material, and subsequently pushes and accelerates the ball away, similar to a releasing spring. Note that the softness of the sponge not only generates a larger catapult effect, but also increases the ball-contact time (of course, a deep penetration into the material takes longer). In turn, this increases the amount of control, feeling, and feedback of the Tin Arc 5 from DHS. Hence, even in dangerous and fast situations, there is always sufficient control to master these.
