The Joola TT Buddy V200 is a ping pong machine which offers quite many functions whilst it literally still saves your wallet. Hence, the V200 is worth a recommendation for various purposes: Beginners (both kids and adults), or pure hobby players who want to escape from everyday life. The V200 is a table tennis robot which can be used either at home, or in a table tennis club.

The Joola TT Buddy V200 looks quite modern, and exhibits various adjustable basic functions. These include backspin, topspin, and counters. The ball capacity of this TT robot is approx. 100 balls, which is ok. By means of a funnel, the balls are directed toward the head, and are ejected at a frequency which can be adjusted (12-70 balls/min).

The settings can also be selected using a remote control, whereas the power supply is achieved via a power supply unit. The assembly and disassembly of the Joola TT Buddy V200 is very easy, and quick. No additional aids are necessary. Additionally, the V200 has a very low weight (approx. 1.1 kg), which makes this ping pong robot very handy, and easy to transport. The V200 measures 48 x 28 x 28 cm (completely assembled).

You can simply place this robot anywhere on top of the table in order to reach specific targets. Perfect for hobby and home use, or for beginners in a table tennis club!

Joola TT Buddy V200 - Too good to be true considering its low price?

The Joola TT Buddy indeed has some limitations. There is no oscillation function, and no battery supply. The balls need to be placed into the ball basket manually. The ejected balls also exhibit a certain "scattering", meaning that the precision is not excellent. In this regard, it is your decision whether you can tolerate this, or not. The other robots from the V-series are, however, also known for their low precision. Also, balls may occasionally get stuck, which can be annoying. However, for beginners and / or hobby players, other criteria might be decisive so that the V200 - of course - has its right to exist.

Because of its low acquisition costs, the Joola TT Buddy V200 is a good choice for beginner lessons, kids, and / or recreational activities at home. However, this robot is not recommended for (advanced) players with long-term ambitions.
