Within the Nittaku Fastarc series, the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 is a real best-seller in Japan. However, its popularity in Germany, for example, is quite limited. The Nittaku Fastarc C-1 -A closer look at this rubber The topsheet of the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 is very catchy and tacky, exhibiting a medium hardness. In addition, the pips are comparatively short and wide. Taking these properties together, the result is a quite tight topsheet. This allows for fast openers close to the table and hard finishers. The sponge of the Nittaku Fastarc C1 has fine to medium pores and a medium hardness (45°).
Mainly due to the medium sponge, the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 exhibits good control. This results in a very pleasant feeling when doing e.g. topspins. Speaking of which, you can generate a considerable amount of rotation (the ball "receives" much spin)! A particular strength of this rubber are soft and medium-fast topspin openers following backspin strokes coming from your opponent. But also when doing counter topspins, the Nittaku Fastarc C-1 provides much dynamics. This is also true when plying from the mid distance.
When doing serves, you can generate much rotation. When receiving serves, you can play in a very variable manner. This rubber from the Nittaku Fastarc series accepts quite much rotation. With the Nittaku Fastarc C1, active flips and aggressively chopped balls go off the hand quite successfully. This also includes blocks, provided you are accustomed to the rotation and spin sensitive surface and you chose the right angle. While doing so, there is always sufficient feedback and control.
When doing shots, you may reach limits of this table tennis rubber when reaching a certain hardness and power of your strokes: Then, the (only) medium sponge dominates and the power and pressure you can exert does not further increase.

- Nittaku Fastarc C-1: The softer version of the Nittaku Fastarc G-1, but with the same topsheet. Still a quite fast rubber, with a good spin development. 45° sponge and more spin than the Nittaku Fastarc S-1. Also good control. Gaming system: OFF-.
- Nittaku Fastarc S-1: A modern ALL+ table tennis rubber with a soft topsheet. Sponge hardness: 45°. Good control and a bit more catapult than the Nittaku Fastarc C-1.
