Joola - A company with long-lasting traditions!
We are pretty sure that you are already waiting for the new 2020 products to be available. For the manufacturers, the development and manufacturing of a new table tennis product of course starts long before the turn of the year. The result is then always impressive, which is also the case considering Joola.We also want to provide some information of the company Joola. As already mentioned, this company has a long-lasting tradition: Joola was founded in 1954 by Karl Frey. Back then, the company´s name was Jooss, and there was already a separate department responsible to develop and produce table tennis tables. The name in common use today is Joola and was created by mixing the words Jooss and Landau (the former headquarters). Joola had to move two times: First, from Landau to Godramstein, and then again to Siebeldingen. This took place in 1873 and was mainly due to the immense growth of the company. In Siebeldingen, we can still find the company´s headquarters today. Already in the past, Joola had a close cooperation with the American company Sport Squad, Inc. In 2019, Joola was taken over by this company.
Joola Santoru blades - New & high-quality table tennis blades with Kevlar/Carbon reinforcement
In addition to the other new and innovative products, such as the Vyzaryz or Xylo blades, Joola is also introducing the new Santoru blade series. The most prominent characteristic of this series is the workmanship of synthetic materials: Kevlar / Carbon. If you are familiar with material properties in table tennis, you already know what this means.
