Joola Vyzaryz Blades

Joola - A great company with highest quality and long tradition

We are all very excited of what the new year 2020 might bring in terms of new, fancy table tennis products. Of course, the manufacturers are working on new products a long time before the transition of the year. This includes the development of technologies and manufacturing processes. At the end of all this effort, there is more fun and success when playing ping pong!

This is also true for Joola! Before we introduce to you their latest products, we want to provide a little history section. Joola is a German company with a long-lasting tradition. Yet in 1954, Karl Frey founded the company. Back then, there was already an individual section within the company called Jooss, that dealt with the manufacturing of table tennis tables. The name Joola is based on the combination of Jooss and Landau, whereas such combinations were very popular back then: It is the mix of the name of the company with its current location (Landau=city name). The next location of the company was in Godramstein and in 1873, the company moved again to Siebeldingen, where we can still find the headquarters today. This was necessary as the growth was immense, and new room and space had to be found. In 2019, Joola was taken over by the American company Sport Squad, Inc. Both companies were already working closely together, which is probably one reason for the excellent reputation of Joola.
